Photo exhibition AMSTERDAM – Photographer and (former) dancer Goran Turnšek exhibits his photographs. The exhibition is on view from 24 July to 8 August at the Queer current festival during Pride Amsterdam in the VondelCS, Amsterdam. …Iets met ruimte

On 12 May, the Pictura Gallery in Groningen will open the exhibition “… Iets met ruimte”. In the exhibition, 11 photographers explore the limits of photography and the gallery together. Together they create a new universe. The group previously exhibited in Den Helder and is again given the chance by Galerie Pictura to take over a space. Dance identity at stake

Photo project Second Stage, which is addressing the career change of former dancers and how to preserve former dancer’s instrument will be exhibited in the Fotoacademie in Amsterdam. Turnšek makes personal use of his own dancing past to forge exciting links between photography and dance, thus showing that they are actually not so opposed at all.
